After a grueling week of bicycling throughout Colorado’s beautiful, but challenging mountain roadways, the USA Pro Challenge wraps up in Denver this weekend. On Sunday, August 24th, Stage 7 of the USA Pro Challenge, featuring some of the elite professional cyclists from across the globe will cross the finish line at Civic Center Park located in downtown Denver. A festival to celebrate this 4th annual event will include the LifeBlood 5K race.
Stage 7, following a 78 mile route, will begin in Boulder, Colorado, continue up Lookout Mountain in Golden and then descend into downtown Denver, with the expected arrival time to be around 2:20 pm.
Denver Metro drivers will be challenged with road closures, delays and parking restrictions on both Saturday and Sunday, so make sure you check the USA Pro Challenge map and brochure for more information before you head downtown.
